Qualified Remodeler has tracked the industry’s largest and fastest growing firms since 1978. The 2026 list measures installed remodeling revenue for the year ending in December 2025. Together, the 500 companies on it reported $26.9 billion in remodeling revenue.
Placement is not automatic. The Qualified Remodeler editorial staff selects TOP 500 companies against a set of criteria that includes installed remodeling dollar volume, total years in business, industry association membership, industry certification, industry awards, and community service.
Within the 2026 ranking, design-build firms accounted for just over $1 billion in revenue and insurance restoration companies produced $2.5 billion. RESIDE works in both categories, alongside window replacement, residential real estate, and multi-family services, across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Colorado.

What a Ranking Like This Actually Tells a Homeowner
It is worth being straight about what the TOP 500 measures. It is a revenue ranking. It says a company completed a significant volume of work last year. It does not, on its own, say that every job went smoothly, and no honest contractor would claim otherwise.
What scale does provide is capacity. Crews available in the weeks after a hailstorm rather than the following spring. A design team that has worked through hundreds of floor plans and knows where the surprises hide. Licensing and insurance in four states. Enough purchasing weight to keep a project moving when a window order runs late.
